Flora Desbrosses is a consultant and trainer in social media strategy based in Nice. She offers training sessions focused on the effective use of social networks for businesses. Among her offerings, a training program titled “Generative AI in Business: ChatGPT to Optimize Your Professional Actions” helps professionals integrate generative AI tools like ChatGPT into their daily activities.
Who are your clients?
For several years, I have been training and supporting clients from various sectors. I guide them in designing social media communication strategies throughout France, particularly in the PACA region. I also work on other topics close to my heart, such as digital transformation, employer branding, storytelling, employee advocacy, and online reputation.
Since training in generative AI a year and a half ago, I’ve aimed to share this knowledge with my clients. Teaching and learning together in such a fast-evolving field is incredibly rewarding. My goal is to make training modern and dynamic.
Most of my clients are small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs). I recently completed a generative AI training session for about ten companies from the Fédération Française du Bâtiment (French Federation of Building Trades). These sessions help entrepreneurs demystify AI and uncover the time and productivity gains it can bring. They often arrive with some apprehension but leave motivated and ready to take action.
My next mission is with a network of six travel agencies in the PACA region. They want to understand how AI could assist with tenders. I help my clients see AI as more than just a drafting tool; it’s also an assistant that supports questioning. For example, what questions might I have forgotten to ask? This expands the range of possibilities. Using AI as a conversational agent to explore ideas and refine them showcases the real power of generative AI.
What training do you offer?
I provide a one-day program to familiarize participants with tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, and Mistral. I teach them how to “feed” AI with context, avoid biases, and leverage advanced functions such as generating Excel files or macros.
I also share tips for creating effective prompts, like automatically producing PowerPoint presentations that they can later integrate directly into Canva, which now includes AI features. My strength lies in tailoring my programs to each client’s needs.
Educating leaders is essential, but I also offer workshops for employees to raise awareness and teach them to critically evaluate AI-generated responses. Few SMEs are mature enough in this area yet.
Can you give us concrete use cases?
For my own work, my training programs are Qualiopi-certified. To qualify for OPCO funding, I have to draft educational outlines and detailed documents. This typically takes two hours, but with generative AI, I send my positioning document, and the AI completes the file almost instantly.
Some of my clients are real estate agents. Before listing a property, they analyze co-op reports with AI, which highlights key points to monitor.
My husband runs a plumbing business. At first glance, you wouldn’t think generative AI could be useful to him. I taught him to use AI as a voice assistant and to send photos of complex cases. He frequently uses it to find solutions to practical, mechanical problems he encounters in his work.
A few weeks ago, he faced an HR issue involving an employee. We turned to ChatGPT, which listened to our discussion and offered highly empathetic management solutions to resolve the situation effectively.
What challenges do your clients face with AI?
Data protection is a major risk. I emphasize the do’s and don’ts: avoid sharing confidential information and use paid versions of AI tools for enhanced security.
What advice would you give to entrepreneurs hesitant to embrace generative AI?
Start by getting trained to understand and overcome your fears. Then use it daily to integrate best practices and teach them to your team.
